15th Circuit Court Group 13

Next Election: November 2018

Description

Circuit Court judges are elected county-wide for a six year term.

History

When a judge leaves his or her bench and creates an opening, there are usually several people willing to run for the position. Sitting judges, who must stand for re-election every six years on the other hand are rarely challenged. This year, of the 9 15th Circuit Court judge seats that would be on the ballot, 6 are uncontested and so their occupants have won by default. These are Judges Janis Brustares Keyser (Group 6), Joseph Marx (Group 11), Kathleen J. Kroll (Group 19), Cymonie Rowe (Group 24), James Martz (Group 26) and Daliah H. Weiss (Group 29).
