County Court judges are elected county-wide for a six year term.

When a judge leaves his or her bench and creates an opening, there are usually several people willing to run for the position. Sitting judges, who must stand for re-election every six years on the other hand are rarely challenged. This year, of the 4 County Court judge seats that would be on the ballot, 3 are uncontested and so their occupants have won by default. These are Judges REginald R. Corlew (Group 3), Robert Panse (Group 14), and Paige Gillman (Group 11).
