Background Tina Polsky is a currently a mediator and runs Elder Care Mediations. A member of the Boca Chamber, she is a long time volunteer for local charitable groups. With a degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Columbia Law School, she practiced law in New York, and ws a FINRA mediator and arbitrator. Policy interests include "commonsense solutions" to gun violence, "equal rights for all" and "forward thinking" solutions to climate change, but has not put forth any specific proposals in these areas. She is endorsed by all the unions, NOW, the Boca Chamber, the Realtors, and most of the Democrat elected officials in the county. With no Republican challenger, the 2018 race was decided in the primary where Tina defeated Mindy Koch with 62%. |
