 Melissa McKinlay (D) INCUMBENT |
Background Melissa McKinlay was born in 1971 and has been a county resident since 2004. She has volunteered locally, serving on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Boca Raton, and Childnet, and Voices for Children, and was the Public Affairs Chair for VillageWalk HOA in Wellington. Since 2010 she had served as Legislative Delegation Aide for the county department that lobbies the state government on behalf of the county. Melissa McKinlay was endorsed by many of the public sector unions whose salaries and benefits depend on the county commission, including the PBA, FPO, AFL-CIO, Florida Professional Firefighters, and Professional Firefighters & Paramedics of Palm Beach County. |
